Ok this is just HUGE, I wouldn't eat this but had to show it's massiveness:) |
Guacamole Burgers
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 container (12 ounces) guacamole (I hope to learn to make my own someday)
4 burger buns
Directions
In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape meat mixture into 8 thin patties. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of guacamole on center of 4 patties. Top with remaining patties, and seal edges. Grill until meat temperature reaches 165 degees. Serve on buns with your extra favorite toppings. I envision shredded taco cheese, sour cream and salsa as an excellent compliament to this burgaliciousness!
For more grilling recipes that features beef I ecourage you to check out the newly launch Certified Hereford Beef facebook page. CHB is dedicated to educating consumers on the cuts of beef available at the meat counter, proper cooking & handling techniques and providing their customers with practical recipes to whip up for families with hectic school schedules (it's also back to school season!)
Lastly, I'm sure all you fashion police caught my white pants line....As you know it's a "fashion rule" that white pants are only allowed to be worn from Memorial Day to Labor Day. So I will be having one last outing with the white capris to Sunday mass and then packing away till May 2012.
